Immuch360 3.3.0-rc.0 build 41, a test build for phones, tablets, the Meta Quest and TVs: Gaussian splats now open on Android phones and tablets, and a splat scene saved on your Immich server opens from the timeline of every device.
- Gaussian splats on Android phones and tablets (experimental): the
.spzand.plysplats of your shares and folders are listed with your other files, and a tap opens the scene in a viewer of the app: Walk (left thumb to walk, drag to look around, pinch to go forward and back) or Turn around an object, Reset, Turn upright and an info sheet. - Splat photos: your splat scenes on your Immich server: the server does not take
.spzand.plyfiles, so Save to Immich turns a scene into a splat photo, a JPEG of the view you see with the whole scene inside the same file. - The Quest: a splat photo of your timeline opens in the immersive viewer as a splat file does, and the splat page has Save to Immich.
- TVs: a splat photo shows as a photo, with the line "Splat scene: explore it on a computer, an Android phone or tablet, or a Meta Quest 3 or 3S".
- Computers: desktop build 21 also brings the splat viewer, AV2 videos (experimental), the making of a splat scene from your photos or a video on Windows (experimental), 8K videos that no longer stutter on Windows laptops with two graphics chips, the 360° panoramas on a graphics card of 8 GB, and a fix of the folder library at the start of a new profile.
