Immuch360 3.3.0-rc.0 build 38, a test build for the Meta Quest, phones, tablets and TVs: browse the folders of your device, see your TIFF photos, and pick up a film where you stopped.
- Browse a folder: , on phones, tablets and the Quest
- Where it is: in Library, On this device, "Browse a folder" opens the folder picker of Android in Download.
- A folder inside Download: Android 11 and later let you pick a folder inside Download, such as Download/Quest, not Download itself.
- Your folders stay: each folder you picked stays at the top of On this device for next time, with "Cannot be read now" when it was moved or unplugged.
- To your server: a long press, or Select, then "Upload to Immich" sends the files to your Immich server.
- TIFF photos: , on phones, TVs and the Quest
- From your server: a TIFF shows from the JPEG your server makes of it, with "Shown as the server's preview: this device does not decode TIFF" in the details and once per session in the viewer.
- From this device or a share: the app decodes the TIFF itself, with "Decoding the TIFF on this device" while it works: 8 and 16 bit, gray, RGB, palette and CMYK, uncompressed or with LZW, Deflate, PackBits or JPEG compression, in strips or tiles.
- A file that does not decode: shows "This device cannot decode this TIFF" in its place, and the app leaves it alone for the rest of the session instead of reading it again.
- In the headset: , the immersive viewer shows a TIFF too, from the server's JPEG or from a JPEG the app makes once and keeps.
- Films pick up where you stopped
- Films only: a video longer than 10 minutes counts as a film.
- Where: in the viewer of your Immich photos and videos, in the player of the network shares and in the immersive viewer of the Quest.
- Remember where I stopped: in Settings, Asset Viewer, Videos, this switch turns it off, and its slider sets the length from which a video counts as a film, from 0 (every video) to 60 minutes.
- Play from the start: and Mark as not watched are in the menu of the viewer and in the details of a film, which also say "Watched 42 %" or "Stopped at 42:10 of 01:40:00".
- Films no longer loop: , whatever the Looping switch says; shorter videos keep looping as before.
- On this device only: what you watched is kept in a database of its own on this device and never sent to your server.
- Meta Quest 3 and 3S: the Gaussian splats of build 36 are unchanged.
