Open the raw files of 360° cameras
The raw .insp photos and .insv videos of Insta360 cameras (one or two lenses, in one track, two tracks or two files), the .360 files of the GoPro MAX and the .osv files of the DJI Osmo 360 are stitched by the app as they play, with the calibration written in the file, with nothing to install anywhere.
- Put the raw files where the app reads them: an SMB or WebDAV share, your Immich server (it takes .insp and .insv only), or the folders of a computer. The gallery of an Android phone does not list raw files, so a raw file copied to the phone shows neither in its gallery nor in the app.
- Keep the two files of a recording made of two files together: the app looks for the other one next to the first.
- Open the file and tap 360°. A photo shows "Raw 360° file, stitched by the app" with the source of its calibration; a video is stitched as it plays. On Android phones, tablets and TVs, an Insta360, GoPro MAX or DJI Osmo 360 video also plays stabilised with the camera's gyroscope (experimental).
